Q: Does Hasbro intend to release other figures that will transform with ENERGON OPTIMUS PRIME?
A: Yes, this Fall there will be figures that will POWERLINX with the ENERGON series OPTIMUS PRIME.

(Hmm. Omega Supreme and Wing Saber, anyone?)

Q: I have just purchased the new 20th Anniversary edition of OPTIMUS PRIME and I was wondering if you will be releasing the same of MEGATRON?
A: We do not currently have plans to release another Anniversary edition Transformers figure.

Probably because they couldn't release a Gun Megs in the U.S., anyhow...

not to mention that the gun mode, likely would be significantly larger than its previous form, making cops say "He's got a really ridiculously big gun! shoot him!"

We all knew that there wouldn't be a Megatron reissue. The real question should be if there may possibly be any plans for a Trailer to go with the 20th anniversary Optimus Prime.

I want a G2 Megatron Masterpiece version. :( Even in the original colors he would rule over all Transformers as G2 Megatron does already.

Well..... they're both considered G2 Megatrons.. its just.. the green version is the one that most consider to be G2 Megatron.. and the other is considered as Hero Megatron.. Why they'd call him a hero, is beyond me though.

BTW.. Viewfind.. whats wrong with the US sticker saying Megatron Rules? The UK one is blank, and it looks like there should be something there... even if it was a Decepticon logo.

Yes? He is quite boastful, and sometimes arrogant.

They should re-mold G2 Megatron and give him G1 Megatron's colors. It would have the potential to replace G1 Megatron and Energon Megatron as my favorite Megatron.

Then again I could buy a G2 Megatron and some model paint and presto, I'd have it.

I've always thought that G2 megs, painted purple and gold, would make a preaty good Impactor, perhaps to complement Giaxus (can't quite remember the spelling of that...) in the Universe line. Of course, there's about zero probability of that but aguys gotta have a dream;)

I had the Bludgeon rerelease of that toy and it was AWFUL. The thing couldn't stund under it's own power and was as floppy as a ragdoll.

The green G2 Megs looks better and probably hold together better too. But if they were to make a 20th anniversary figure out of that toy in order to keep it to scale with the real thing wouldn't the toy be really really big?

It could be anywhere up to the size of one of the GI Joe tanks. That would be pretty kickass.. A Megatron that stood as tall as Unicron, or Fortress Maximus...

Jhiaxus. I thought that Jhiaxus was orange and black. Is there another version out there?
