[edit]
And it might just be me, but Ratchet's face reminds me of the Kraken from CLASH OF THE TITANS...

or maybe the Ymir from 20 MILLIONS MILES TO EARTH...

some of the new poses the robots are in are great.

I'll wait till a year or so after the movie and pick these up on discount, maybe.
Come on and wind me up.

Is it just me or does Meg's face look a little fleshy under some of that metal? Maybe its just "rusted" I donno. Gives him kind of a dragon like face IMHO.

Long, misshapen, clawed hands... monstrous, nightmare faces... triple-jointed chicken legs...

How can I tell the difference between good guys and the bad guys again?

If it eats you, then there's a good chance it was a bad guy, or Grimlock.

But yeah, these new designs don't strike me as very kid-friendly, so I'm wondering how well this will do, with regard to kids.

I'd rather get some of those old Ladybird books. You know, the ones where the faceplateless Prime originated from.

At least I could get a good laugh out of them :D

Jazz looks really friendly. I love his design: almost exactly the same as G1. I also get a tortoise vibe from him: most be the shellish look of his silver Pontiac form.

You know, there’s something comical about the second “I Can Read!” storybook. I think it may have something to do with inviting children to “Meet the Decepticons”, on the cover. They’re such a swell bunch, after all.
I’m picturing a cartoony image of smiling children, huddled underneath a grinning Megatron’s widespreading “arms”, with the caption “Remember children, Megatron hates you all! Yay!”

….If only it actually did :(

When he has his visor DOWN, I agree. Up, he looks like a killer rabbit with that evil grin.

Reminds me of that Samurai Jack episode with Aku attempting to make all the children turn against Jack.
