Yay, Brad Mick is on board. Woo-hoo.

Any interest I had in that book is quickly waning.

Sticking with continuity from a 10 year old show is not a good idea, in my opinion.

Have I missed something, or did the end of BW and the start of BM kinda run back to back?

Not anymore, apparently...
My approach to Beast Wars will be very similar to my approach to G1,” Mick revealed. “It’s all about consistency.
This is a man who has specifically stated he is disregarding earlier DW G1.

And is now actively disregarding his own work as well... No, you fools, Runabout wasn't devoured by Gnaw, much as it seemed that way! he was actually just a bit poorly. And I'll bet Sunstorm didn't blow his ****ing head off either.

Continuity is getting a name for fanboy obsession. But it's vital for any comic. How can I get worked up about the theoretical death of, say, Smokescreen, if in three issue's time he turns up and says "Boy, I'm glad I didn't get killed when I piloted Moonbase 1 into the sun to end the threat of Unicron forever!".

Gah! Don't give them any ideas!

But anyway, I only have a small problem with the lack of continuity. It's most likely because I have little to no exposure to any of the Marvel comics. My only G1 experience is the cartoon and thus, any expectance of continuity has been conditioned out of me.
