Wants/Want Nots from Notabot

Post by Notabot »

Wants
Sharpedge
I just got into Beast Wars stuff, so if you've got some you're looking to get rid of, I might be looking for some here and there.

Parts Wanted
G2 Eagle Eye gun, rear fin (both sides), and foot (right one, if it matters)
BW Cheetor tail and stomach weapons/parts
BW Inferno leg/missle
BW Bat Optimus Prime Swords
G1 Seacons weapons/parts/accessories/stuff including arms for most of them.

To Trade/Sell
MISP BW Scarem (Tri-lingual packaging)
MISP Armada Unicron (Orange)
Fox Kids Waspinator
Cybertron Deluxe Monkey Prime
BM Triceradon
Legends Cybertron Optimus Prime
Legends Cybertron Megatron
BW Dinobot
BM Striker (One plate's connector is broken, but displays fine either mode)
Armada Thrust and Inferno
Energon Insecticon
Energon Scorponok
Armada Scavenger and Rollbar
BW TM2 Dinobot
BW Quickstrike
Energon Starscream (missing energon sword/gun)

Parts to trade/sell
G1 Rippersnapper pistol
G1 Devastator head
G1 Hook pistol
Transmutate's Right arm and left leg from BW 10th anniv.

1985 Transformer Collector Cards
I've got duplicates in mint to near mint shape of just about every card Hasbro produced. I'm looking for a couple variations and just a few character cards to round out a second set. Let me know numbers and what-not.

Other stuff
I've got some Earthworm Jim action figures packed away. If interested, I can pull them out and let you know what exactly I have.

I have a spare BWII Cicadacon. It doesn't have any weapons, though.

A few questions about that ^
1) Is BWII Cicadacon different from regular?
B) How important are the weapons in making Tripredacus or in Cicadacon's beast mode?
III) How awesome are his weapons, and would they be missed?

It's gold instead of green. But not the bad fragile gold. Normal gold.
B) How important are the weapons in making Tripredacus or in Cicadacon's beast mode?
They make part of the right head. They're quasi essential, but it can be worked around.
III) How awesome are his weapons, and would they be missed?
You'd only notice something missing by looking at the right 'hand' of the gestalt.

I'm one large step closer to my total Tripredacus. Cicadacon arrived today in great shape with one sword. I'm now just looking for one of the swords, and not with much fervor.
Pretty sweet gestalt. Clay, I see why you put hand in quotes up above. A bit ambiguous on the phalanges. It seems to work all right with just the one sword, but I wouldn't cry about finding the second one for cheap.

I would need these parts. Devastator's head weapon priority.

I've got an extra TM2 Spittor's weapon/mace (missile in your list). I could also offer Clawjaw from BW line if you don't have one.

I've got Clawjaw, but we can certainly talk trade/purchase of the other parts. I could add a new country to my mailing bingo card!

Basic toys are nice in a way that you can take those apart and post as heavy letter. :) Otherwise posting from is ridiculously expensive. :(

Checked my (badly outdated) trade list/pictures/box more closely. Are you missing?
Terragator or
Insecticon (missing lower part of left hand, has weapon which is most commonly missing).

Have some random Micromasters as well if you're interested in those.

I have neither Terragator nor Insecticon. Are you needing Devastator's head as well, or just the weapon?

Just the weapon.

I'd offer
TM2 Spittor tongue + Terragator or Insecticon for those two parts from you.

If that's OK, send me your address by PM.

Sounds good to me. Any input from anyone on whether Terragator or Insecticon is better?

Check the pictures on my site. :)

Both are nice toys, and worht getting IMO. But I'd recommend Insecticon. Main reason being that Terragator is really, and I mean really, common figure. It turns up very often in lots, and I've honestly put forward about 10 of those during my collecting years.

Also, while missing part of the hand, Insecticon has the most commonly missing parts, aka both halves for the weapon. Insecticon junkers are easy to find, complete ones with the weapon halves not so.

If you're still beginner with BW, I'd recommend keeping an eye on small and why not large collection lots on Ebay. With luck you can find a lot of complete or almost complete toys with the price of one "100% complete BW Inferno" auction.

Beast Wars

Post by Vin Ghostal »

Notabot,

I've got a variety of MISB/MISP Beast Wars stuff that might interest you. I'll be able to provide you with a full list when I return to my parents' house next week, but for now:

Transmetal Rattrap
Transmetal Cybershark

There are a bunch of others.

I'm interested in your Classics Jetfire, so let's work something out, eh? :)

@ Osku,
I was actually leaning toward Insecticon myself because of the weapon. Plus, now that you mention it, I have seen a lot of Terragators on eBay. I'll PM you soon with address and everything.

@ VG,
I've got those two molds, but I'm certainly interested in other stuff. I'll use a Sharpie marker to put a great big "HOLD" sign on Jetfire's box until I hear more from you. :)

@ Everyone,
If you collect the 1985 Transformer trading cards, I've got extras of almost every card. If there's something you're looking for, let me know what number you need. I've got a few variations I'm looking for to round out a set, so trades are most welcome!

Thanks man. Like I said, I should be back to my parents' house a week from today, so I'll be able to provide more info, particularly on the various MISB Beast Wars, Beast Machines, and Robots in Disguse/Car Robots stuff I've got lying about. :)

Edited to include some recent developments.
Thanks to Osku, I'm now looking for the left lower arm/hand of BW Insecticon. (No, he didn't steal it.) Also thanks to him, Spittor's mace is off the wants list as well.
Thanks to Cliffjumper, Eagle Eye is no longer on the wants list. Thanks to a random Ebay seller who didn't label his auction well, I'm not looking for Blitzwing's turret anymore either. (Got it plus G1 Bombshell for 99 cents!)

Edited to show some new needs and stock.
I scored all 3 guys of Magnaboss for super cheap since they weren't listed by name. They're in great shape and just missing a few weapons. The lot also included a BW Cheetor who's missing his tail and gut weapons.
Added an Armada Unicron MIP to the sale/trade list.
Vin, you still looking at Jetfire? I was just kidding about the sharpie, you know. :)
