While I'm not a huge fan of Brawl's robot mode design, There's no denying how awesome a tank that large would be.

Well, how about that?! I was just pondering about four hours ago that a leader class sized Brawl would be an execellent toy and I would love it if they would release a larger version of the toy - and lo and behold, here it is!

How strange is that?

I'm not so keen on the exaggerated chunky proportions he seems to have - and he does give the impression of wearing a inflatable swimming ring or something! But, a huge tank is fun. Still, for me, in a large range of toys, there are better and more affordable ones to take a portion of my meagre budget.

New sale thread added with a range of Transformers including Masterpiece, Botcon, CHUG, RID, Movies etc.

Looking for MP-11T Thundercracker and MP-9 Rodimus v2 (Takara version with as few QC issues as possible).

Check out my new sale thread now!

Also items on eBay.

i would hate to run into him in a dark alley. i love the details brought out by the larger version of the toy. it'd be nice if they brought out leader class versions of all their toys, they could make a killing off of them i bet.

Not bad. I really like the concept of a leader-class tank. Too bad there's no vehicle mode comparison pics with leader prime. I'd like to see how they match up. I probably won't get him, since I have the deluxe, but who knows.

I heard the Deluxe Brawl was really good, but I might just pick this one up instead.

Deluxe Brawl sucks, actually. His arms won't stay in place.

Cool. Might pick one up.When does it come out?
Why would they leave the head sticking out and the sides folded back in tank mode?

Close again the panels on the second turret, the same ones you have to open during transformation. Try.

I was hoping for a more movie accurate robot mode, but this actually looks worse than the delux version. Very disappointing.

Although, you could just say this is a poor man's version of Devastator. :)

(which does actually beg the question, since this is a new version, why didn't they fix the name?)

It's all about being scary: Leader Brawl is scary for both your shelves AND your wallet, what more could you ask?

Great idea, it did truly suck that brawl got away with being the same size as Bumblebee.

just saw the film today too! it was actually pretty good, and i loved the story, but i was also thusly confused by the name Devastator, and i raised my eyebrow too! anyone know what "scale" the leader class figures are? i am wanting to now redo Prime as Springer, or if they bring out a leader class Wreckage out that would be handy too. It's tough to find 1:24th scale toys to redo into my favorite TF characters! also, megs wasn't an experimental jet, pure cybertronian baby!!

note from the manager: i know i got off topic a bit, but i think it was warranted just in case the question was asked in the future about megatron :).

Cool! Now, any trick like that for Starscream's loose arms?

Because Bay overwrote the legal agreements made on the character names with Hasbro, all the while promising to 'fix' it. He preferred the name 'Devastator' for the tank, even though Hasbro wanted to reserve it for the next movie.

Kinda petty, really.

That doesn't answer the question though. Movie's out. His name is Devastator. If he's never going to fix it, then they need to just accept it and change the name of the toy (since they have another one coming out).

Don't get me wrong, I'd much prefer a fix to the movie, but it sounds like that ain't gonna happen.
