Animated Figures Released in Walmarts & TRU in the US

Post by Ackula »

http://seibertron.com/transformers/news ... ics/13188/
Seibertron.com member Real One has reported seeing Transformers Animated figures at Walmart in Nevada. This is what Real One had to say:

"I went to Walmart (Nevada) this morning and found a bunch of Animated TFs. I got Bulkhead and Bumblebee. I also found some at another Walmart and bought the only Grimlock."

If this is true, then this is the first report of seeing TF Animated figures at retail outside of the Ohio state area in the United States.
Images attached below for proof. Has anyone else spotted any? My wife just got a night job at Wal*mart for some extra cash so I'm gonna have her scout the store tonight as we are close to Nevada....

Aw hell no... Did he just call me stupid?

Anyway, no luck at my local Wal-Mart. Claimed they weren't allowed to sell them yet.

Play nice guys. It happens, I've posted things minutes after someone else and then realized it and merged them, no one is perfect :)

I made a call to my Wal*Mart and they claim to have nothing new for TF...

EDIT: California sightings now too? Damn it..now I'm getting that excited hunter-gatherer sensation...must find..

It sounds like the US of A is finally seeing the Animated line on the store shelves!:) And by the looks of it, the States are already on to Wave 2, and possibly Wave 3 (Grimlock is part of Wave 3)! I'm not sure how far we Canadians are in the Animated line...:(

I was messing around as far as the "Aw hell no." comment goes. Anyway, yeah I think Canada is in Wave 2 or 3 atm. Enjoy it while it lasts. We Americans are sneaky little bastards.

I still haven't seen any over here in Ohio. But that's okay, because I've got practically nothing in my wallet at the moment. Think maybe I could pay for a Deluxe with a photo of me, and my Dippin' Dots Ice Cream card?

(I would link to the photo in question, but I'm not sure if I'm allowed.)

Well I can confirm they are at Porterville, California at Wal*Mart. They had Deluxe Prime, Bumblebee, Ratchet, Prowl, Lockdown, Blackarachnia, and Voyager Starscream, Bulkhead, Lugnut, Megatron, and Grimlock.

I bought Grimlock, Starscream, Blackarachnia, and Bumblebee for my son. Images below for proof and all that.

I'm around Vancouver Canada, and so far we have the Wave 1 deluxes and voyagers. I'll be hitting up TRU and Wall-Mart in search of the Wave 2 deluxes this week.

I'm...sorry? I somehow doubt your father is the same age as me though, so things are a bit different.

So I sold something to make money for these guys, sent my wife to get the rest of the figures, and after one day... they are gone. She picked me up Ratchet, Lockdown, and Cybertron Optimus Prime. The rest are all gone, the hunt is back on...
