"WHLJCK". Not "Brakedown" or "Slicer", it appears.

Yay, another autobot. How exciting. We wouldn't want the decepticons to stand a chance, now would we?

And I repeat,

Don't you mean 'Yay another repaint' ;).

While it is good to see Wheeljack, it would of been better to see him come out in his own mould.

First it was Ravage, then Shockwave and now Wheeljack. The only changes are the colours and heads (except with SW and his hand). Shame really. However is this Altenator jets thing is real you can expect the Seekers to come in hot and fast. More punishment for my wallet :\

I dislike the colour scheme in Wheeljack's robot mode. The blue stripe down his centre is intrusive and disconcerting.

I maintain that it is not impossible for the toy to be released as a Destron. If the body has been stolen, it may have retained the original licence plate. [/denial]

True, it's just a prototype, anyway. Swindle's proto had autobot insignias on it.

Shockwave's too.

But none of them had an original name written on the license plate (i.e. not the name of the original version of the mold) that was not the same name said remold was going to be released under.

Besides, Shockblast in package. The license plate allegedly saying "SHKWAV" surprises me, though - didn't Hasbro state at OTFCC that the license plates will always bear abbrevations of the toys' names for licensing reasons?

Major dissapointment. I was really happy about having two stunticons [never got the set as a kid] and now they're making him Wheeljack? I can only hope that the license plate is photoshoped. The J is bolder than the rest of the characters.

They should have made another stunticon. Wheeljack deserves his own distinct tooling.

Still, that's an awesome mold (Grimlock is sweet!). I'll prolly buy it.

Random thought:
It's tough getting Grimlock's head/neck thru that narrow slot in the hood (or bonnet) while transforming... With Wheeljack's head so wide with the ears/speakers/whatever, ....How is that going to work?

Good question.

This is good news for me, because I was going to possibly skip out on Grimlock depending on what the next mold was going to be. Nothing against Grimlock, I just picture him as something bigger than a car. A truck, maybe. (have to see what molds come out in that type later)

He's just fine for me. I plan on painting the blue stripes in red and green (most likely inner-green, outer-red, but I'll have to digibash it first to see how it looks)

I wasn't planning on buying any of the dcepticon Alternators... but Shockwa- err Shockblast just looks so awesome!

Don't get me wrong, I love my Alternator Jazz/Meister, but this is a MUCH nicer deco in my opinion.

Are you sure that the "WHLJCK" isn't a Photo Shop thing? Maybe it's just my computer, but it didn't look legit to me. <shrugs>

I hope it is a decepticon. I really like that sword in those colors, but if it's an autobot, I prolly won't get him, since I'm looking for more decepticons. Course, I am going to be spending a lot less money on tfs this year, unless BBTS gets some kickass vintage stuff in . . .

Whatever dude. You don't want to talk about it...or it's a thought that's "beneath you" then why even say anything. Hell, while we're at it (since it seems to bother you so much) RVG and SHKWAV look faked too.

It doesn't mean they are, but I was just curious if anyone else thought as much. I didn't see any threads about it...but obviously there was at one time. A link would surely be more helpful than a, "Don't be such a n00b" comment. :\

The Ravage licence plate is certainly not faked.

Btw Alternator Windcharger is now available (I got one in box 7 days ago). Ravage is apparently out sometime in Feb and Shockblast/wave in March. Wheeljack or whoever from what I've been told is around May-June release.
