Universe/Classic Prime Trailer!

Post by Catalyst Dragon »

Has anyone seen this?

I searched and didn't find a current topic on this.

http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/prod ... ode=retail

I've already ordered one.
All that was needed was a catalyst and the machines of war are set in motion.

Cool, but i like the Mags trailer more.

It seems nemesis is luckiest. He has both trailers.

Yep, seen it and getting both versions of it. I'm gonna have to trick Nemy Prime out with both sets of trailers.

Arrgh! It's not fair! Why does this come along after i spent all my cash???!!!:(:(:(

Oh well. I wonder when they said that two deluxes would fit, if they took Bumblebee's jet ski trailer into consideration...

FansProject are also doing one. There looks to be less detail and functionality, but it is a smidge more 'g1'. these are the people who did the magnus armor.

I am missing two things: color and a normal pair of rocket launchers.

I'm actually not a fan of that...something about the trailer getting much narrower towards the cab looks odd and incorrect. I'm all for variation and creative liberties, but I just don't think it looks good, regardless of the (lack of) similarity to the original.

It looks pretty good opened up, with Roller and that repair arm thing. Its in keeping with the classics line of updating yet staying relatively close to the original. Trailer mode... I'm a bit put off by the narrow end of it too. I don't need it, though, so I wont get it.

I do like that Cliffjumper upgrade kit you see in Borg's "linky-woo" It looks like they've fixed his head from being red bumblebee. I don't hav CJ yet, so I'll wait until they're a package deal like the city commander armor. Shouldn't be very expensive.

The Cliffjumper kit preceded the City Commander set by about a year or more; it too was a small production run and sold out pretty well instantly.

Considering the Fansproject pictures seem to have both trailers attached to one cab, there might just be hope yet...:D

Looks like they are working on a Classics Rodimus to Rodimus Prime set next. All I can say is this:

F***. YES.

Igear set superior, Sgcollect set inferior. I like the white gun, though.
Oh, the blue sword:down:

The crappy pic of the Rodimus Prime upgrade still looks cool.

A 3rd Party Products Thread would be a great idea, considering how frequent these things are coming out now.

OOow yes! I like Rodimus gettin'upgraded and I like even better Mags armor gettin'upgraded with the addition of a real gun and not a box of doom. And the addition of that sword makes me double happy.
