From http://tfexchange.com/article.php?sid=280&mode=flat (Which I followed from stone cold's fort max topic) it shows the cover to the TPB of Target 2006 which I am assuming will come out after the G2 ones. Thats good as Furmans best stuff potentially (Space pirates, Wanted Galvatron dead, Time wars) will get reissued YAY :D.

I can't wait this will be the first time that it is published in the US. I've been wanting to read that for a while. I'm so glad they're reprinting the old stuff in a book. It makes it more convenient because I don't have to open up the old comics (I can keep them bagged and boarded), and there are no ads taking up the pages).

But last years Transforce Simon Furman announce T2006 would be down as a TPB didn't he

All Fall Down, End of the Road, and Primal Scream have been released. Matrix quest is next, then I've heard about Target 2006, and The G2 series (in two books).

Do you think any of Budianski's stuff will be reprinted? Some of his stuff, like the Underbase Saga were good, and some of the others are essential to set the stage for Furman's stuff.

Budiansky's stuff could be reprinted when they run out of Furman material [at least stuff with PB potential], but it'll depend whether there's still demand... I wouldn't be surprised to see the limited series reprinted before long, though.

Yes the initial "Shockwave's got Op's head"story line was fantastic. I didn't find the undebase so bad. The initial manaliputation by STarscream was very good (and classic Starscream) even if the story started with that stuff with the seacon's

I'm hoping for:

"Crisis of command/Dinobot hunt + In the national intrest

Prey/Distant thunder etc (UK 96 to 104)

Wanted Galvatron-fire on high (+The 87 annual).

Legacy of unicorn

Space Pirates + Time wars.

Would most of those make a decent size tho?

Crisis/Dinobot/National - 132 that's cool
Return to Cybertron [Prey etc.] - 106... that's probably okay...
Wanted Galvy - 88 - a bit slim... maybe they could add in Headhunt?
Legacy - 77 pages... Maybe reprint Legacy & Space Pirates as one because...

Time wars - wouldn't this be better with Dry Run, Firebug, Cold Comfort, maybe Wrecking Havoc?

And maybe the Flame cycle could be reprinted with some other stuff.... Enemy Action, Salvage, Deadly Games...

I kinda felt Legacy of Unicorn would go better with Wanted Galvy and Headhunt. It wouldbe bigger but TPB can easily go over 200 pages. And in terms of cost the price hike wont/shoudent be too much maby a fiver more as its all within the cost printing standards of each book.

Space priates sorta ends with time wars.
