Images of packaging (back) for the upcoming Masterpiece Skywarp have surfaced on ebay.
As seen at tfw2005.com

....But where are the decals?

I wanna get MP Skywarp and MP UltraMagnus, repaint them and sell them as MP-04 and Starscream on eBay as a joke...

Still a pity that he doesn't have the decals in these new images, but no doubt repro-labels will come through in that department. Regardless, I really, really, like what I have seen thus far. Just a gorgeous piece.

Thanks for this - I hate you and my bank balance hates you, know that? I absolutely must have Skywarp. Agreed about the decals, but that is a very nice looking airplane. Can't tell from the piccies, but have they 'fixed' his problematical facial expression at all?

meh... i guess the joke didn't deliver what i *actually* meant, which is:

Starscream's mold was awesome and so it was MP Optimus, but i wish they actually did variations for the other characters instead of just copy and repaint. Ultramagnus looked NOTHING like OP, and Starscream and Skywarp had some subtle differences too, i wish that could be reflected onto the masterpieces that are *supposed* to look like them.

Indeed there are collectors wannabees out there would woud buy anything that barely looks like a rarity just to look "cool", and indeed the industry is too well aware of that.
