His answers were short and vague yet somehow...reassuring. Glad to hear that the Alternators will be implemented into the movie. Those are som great designs. I'm also thankful that it's going to be Autobots vs Decepticons, not Autobots vs Decepticons vs Something Else.

And please...no femmebots. Can't we just pretend they never happened?

Why? Mess with your head too much?
TFormers: What one thing so far has you the most excited just from your own personal opinion?

Don: Finding out in a meeting that Spielberg knows the mythology stone cold perfectly.
Okay then. I like this information. :D

No, they're just one of the worst ideas to come out of the cartoon series. And I liked the cartoon series.

Perhaps the concept could've worked but...it didn't. The only thing we have femmebots to thank for are psycho-fangirls.

You know, Pat Lee said he knew the Transformers mythos stone cold, too. Especially the part where Sideswipe died in the movie.

Ah...my bad. I think i may have been tired at the time.

As for the femmebots, as proof of their sheer pointlessness theyve been included in the G1 on going have they not?

esentailly pointless interview, because no new info are given ....

femmebots? If could work, why not?
beeing the TF a race of mechanical creature, that don't need to reproduce as the human do (they simply build a body, and the Matrix give to this a sentient program -the G1 comics-, or a Spark), there is no explaination to a group of bots with a "female" body ... prior than they meet human .... in this case, could be an idea for a sequel ...

Vash:Normally when you buy an old, used bike, you're supposed to repair it before riding it!
Wolfwood:Are you dissing my beautiful shiny Angelina II?!
Vash:I'm dissing YOU, not your stupid broken bike!

"America Southwest" could be the location for the story, but i doubt that they film the movie in the US .... despite could be a good place .... Where is located the original G1 story?

Ghirox: it's set in Oregon - at least, that's where the Ark is. They tend to move around somewhat.

The Southwest sounds like a perfect area to do things to me. Plenty of big cities for Prime to prevent Megs from devastating, and lots of open desert to fight in properly. I can see some visual continuity from G1, where they were often fighting in rocky desert. (Don't know how appropriate that is to Oregon's geography, but it looked good all the same.)

EDIT: Hey, where'd my sig go?

Was not the Ark crashed into the side of Mt St Helens? Didnt Mt St Helens have an eruption earlier this year? The same kind of thing that woke the TFs in the original story.

But...I thought St H. was near Seattle, which was near Canada.

It was Mount St. Hilary. Don't know enough of American geography to say if that's a real place or whether it's a reference to Mount St. Helens, but Oregon is specifically mentioned a lot in the comics, and once or twice in the cartoon too, if I recall correctly.

Mount St. Hillary is a fictious place, based on the real-life eruption of Mount St. Helens.
