That is just spectacular! I love it! Now I wonder if it'll ever see the light of day? Based on Nevermore's previous comments it may be unlikely. Dammit!

I'm a lot less impressed than I had hoped. Tank mode is a lot like Megatron's "lay on your face and you're a tank" thing. Robot mode looks really great, though.

Ooh! Were I collecting that line, that would be a priority (I only have 3" BW Megs and I'm tempted to get 3" Movie BB. If I ever see G1 Magnus, I'll probably snatch him). Shame the line didn't do so well. I think the fact, that the transformability made the molds weak, was a bit of a hindrance on the popularity of the line.

Did Don design it? I know he designed it in WW comics but did he actually design the toy?

Where do you think he got it from?

I want one!
As a professional tanuki (I'm a Japanese mythological animal, and a good luck charm), I have an alarm clock built into me somewhere. I also look like a stuffed animal. And you thought your life was tough......

Erm. The person who actually designed it if it wasn't him. I know he designed Grimlock in WW but presumably someone else fashioned the actual toy, not Don himself and they gave it to him (for approval?)?

God damn it, what an amazing toy. I've just started getting into Transformer comics recently (mainly the War Within stuff) and just seeing this makes me weep! Here's hoping for some more online ordering action!

I just bought volume one of WW, I wonder how much bigger and powerful Grimlock would have gotten if he was given the Matrix.... *sighs* I hope they write an alternate universe comic where he gets it just once.

What would he be called? Lockimus? Grimus (although he sounds like Ronald McDonald's Retarded Friend..)

Looks like I'm the only voice is dissension on this, but that thing looks like crap.

He'd be better off if he didn't transform because the transformation is as lame as the Megatron one.

You're not the only one friend, when I read the first volume I felt like there could have been a bit more imagination put into Grim's alt mode, Megs though, I have seen the late TFMaster's version of it that he made and I was impressed with that tank mode. The only thing that bugs me on both Megs and Grim is those cannons..... Those could have been a bit more imaginative and not "stuck on" in appearance. I could honestly see Grim as something other than a tank though, but I can't think of anything off the top of my head to be honest that could create Grim or Meg's sheer size and form.

At the response to my post, yea...... Maybe it is a good thing he didn't get the matrix then *laughs*, I doubt Screamer would have let him live down the "new" name given to him. Or the High Council would have given it to him (Grimlock), with a snicker duly noted.

Lookin' good Grimlock. He is rather interesting in alt mode, I
will put forth efforts. Why? Well, yeserday I purchased a WW
Fallen figure at my local K-mart. The mini product check list it came
with had Grimlock listed as well as a 6'' Skywarp, Prowl, Primal
Prime, and Soundblaster with Ravage. That's good enough for
me.
