My Hard Drive finally went to PC Heaven

Friday my computer decided to take a nap. It went out on us and wouldn't reboot. So we took it to the shop and got a new hard drive. Lucky for us all the data was recovered from the old HD. That's why I been "gone" all weekend. Oh and I figured out I'm NOT addicted to the internet.

Well the hard drive went to the matrix. Errr.. Yeah. Well glad your back and I guess your comp is a bit faster now?

Funny thing happend to me on one of my backup Hard drives..
I have 6 of them....RAID

I got a power spike or sag and I had to run one of my backups to get myself back online lastnight...
But to no avail, that drive lost it's partition...

So Eventually after spending all night and day getting my computer online..
It's still acting funny...

All of my light bulbs blew out, and I had to replace a few fuses...Arghhh

Thanks to my other backups I was able to retrieve all of my Documents intact 100%

But I fear all my drives and power supply now need to be replaced..

I hope nobody had to go through this kind of IT nightmare...

From MSWord...

Kind of like version of Dearhunter....
You can even use a LAW "Long Range Anti Tank Weapon" against him and watch him blow up!!

Your hard drive died? What a coincidence! I killed my 20 gig monday night (I kicked it because it kept freezing), and I got a new 100 gig hard drive yesterday, and finally got the ethernet drivers to work today.

While we on the subject of comps malfunctionin', my monitor decided he doesn't like green all of a suden, so everything is warped color wise. thank god I have my TV as a backup monitor.
Clipit? I use wordviewer to read word documents and to make documents I use anyother program, so luckily I haven't seen the little bastard for month.

My power source went out about 2 weeks ago and I had no PC for about a week. Well, I was on the one at work, the one I'm on right now, but I wasn't able to update my site at because all my backup files are on CDrom and my PC here at work(which I think is 10 years old) doesn't have a CDrom drive.

One good thing about it though, is that I upgraded my memory from 128 384(much faster), bought Mech Warrior 4 and played a game online for the first time(really cool!!!), and finally figured out how to go about getting stills from my DVD, so I will be adding pics and really updating my site soon...

BTW, I play MW4 online as....moonbaseone, ofcourse. Anyone else ever play it online?
