First Photo Shoots of Transformers Animated Swoop (video review as well) and Elite Guard Bumblebee Figures

Lots of images there, I have mirrored a few below. The figures appear to have changed since Botcon, as there are color differences now. Swoop's wings are now blue instead of silver, while Elite Guard Bumblebee's head is now black instead of yellow.

I'm actually really digging elite guard Bumblebee. That was my favorite episode so far. I want Sentinel Prime, Cliffjumper, Wasp, Ironhide and Longarm too!

I missed a few episodes here and there. Has Bumblebee had these colors at any time in the cartoon thus far?

It looks like they fixed Bumblebee's stingers.

He didn't actually look quite like that, but all throughout "Autoboot Camp" he talked about being in the Elite Guard. He looked different on that episode, but not as much black. His head was still yellow and all.

Nice... I guess.
Liking Swoop, though it looks to me like they focused more on the Robot Mode and the Alt. mode came second-fiddle.
E.G. Bumblebee.... meh, 's ok, but I'm not much liking those colours. Never thought it'd be possible to have TOO much black, but there you have it...

Edit:
Picked up Animated Bumblebee yesterday, along with Lockdown and Prowl. Can anyone tell me how the hell I'd go about applying that stinger fix, cause the damn things are annoying the $h*% out of me already...

What would they call Snarl? They already used the name for Slag.

The reason they couldn't name him Slag if you didn't know, was because Slag is considered offensive in England. (Meh. Never heard that before, but there ya go) Snarl the Stego and Sludge aren't gonna happen as told at Botcon this year.

Repaints are hit and miss for the most part. If they only painted his head Dark Blue and called him "Goldbug".

Slayerfan, like Nevermore says, don't like them don't buy them. It's as simple as that. They have been doing repaints for as long as they've been in buisness. Hell, half of the main characters in G1 were repaints of each other, mainly half of the Decepticons. *Looks at the Seekers* Repaints make more money to make more molds. And they will obviously try to get the most of the mold as they can.

On that note, does anyone know which mold has been repainted the most?

The original Prime mold's gotten a lot of use, though most of those have been in the same colorscheme.

The original Beast Wars Dinobot's got quite a few.
BW Dinobot
BW Japan Dinobot (Distinct deco)
BW Grimlock
Fox Kids Dinobot
BW Neo Hardhead
BW II Thrustor
BM Dinotron
Dinobots Grimlock
10th Anniv. Dinobot
Telemocha Dinobot

BM Jetstorm's probably up there as well.

You know, I've heard of most of those... except the last. Is that the Japanese 10th Anniversary one or some sort of exclusive?

The figures arn't in stores in OK right now so I've been having to pre-order mine online, just got Jazz! To bad I have to stop spending money though...gotta move in a couple of months.

Anyways, I don't really like the bumblebee, I agree with Secretcode that they should have just painted his head blue and called him Goldbug.

The swoop looks cool I guess, but I don't care for the Blue wings that much.

I must say, I'm starting to really hate Sean Long to the point I wish he'd just get the f*** off youtube, which is already a cavalcade of attention whores such as himself. Whoopdeedamndoo, you got a toy that was probably stolen from a factory and you are parading it around the internet so that your already ridiculously inflated ego goes up another few notches. Congrats sir, for you are truly a inspiration to douchebags everywhere.
