Well, even in the 'right' colors, I'm not going to be feeling the love, personally. I can see how kids will like it, overall, as it's very action-figurey... it's right at home next to the remaining Justice League and 'The Batman' figures.

I sense the sound of thousands of fanbois bitching....

It looks good to me. This Megatron is different from the one showed in the Transformers Animated Volume 2 (Paperback) cover. I guess this toy is his Cybertronian mode...

No, his Cybertronian mode is a gun.

Then this test color toy is his terran form? And the one in the paperback cover is his Cybertronian mode?
It's weird, because the test color toy looks more scifi than the other one...

Are we sure this is Megatron? He looks a bit more suited to be Shockwave to me.

*shrug*

In any event, I'm really liking the look of the robot mode, though I'm not entirely sold on his alt.

Have to see him in person before deciding.

Also, that guy doesn't look any thing like this guy:

They've said somewhere that the Decepticons will show up in Cybertronian modes and get their Earth modes slowly throughout the first season.

So they are both Megatron.

I don't have any proof, so you could, and probably are, correct. But it seems odd to me that his robot mode would change its appearance in such a drastic measure.

Then again, I'm just going off previous TF media, and animated could do things completely differently, which could very well be a gallon of awesome sauce.
