http://www.variety.com/article/VR111800 ... id=13&cs=1Paramount and DreamWorks are forging ahead with "Transformers 3," dating the movie for release on July 1, 2011.
It's the first word of the three-quel, although Paramount insiders downplayed the importance of the move.
They said the studio wanted to claim the date before a competitor did, considering that the 2011 summer release calendar is filling up.

It was Victory. And don't mention that around Micheal Bay. There were already too many ogddamn lame human characters in his first abortion...I mean "Film" in the Transformers series, imagine if he hits upon the "original" idea to have them piloted by humans.
Although given it's very clear Bay knows nothing about Transformer's the chances of that are minimal.

Also, if something happened, it can't be an abortion, can it? I mean, regardless of your feelings on it, the live action film kinda came out (it was in the papers and everything), so it can't have been aborted... can it?
Maybe the errors and ignorance are intentional, y'know? Maybe the plan was to come across as the stupidest fanboy imaginable? C'mon, myriad other posts back that one up. The only way someone could be this stupid is intentionally, surely?

What, exactly, did I do to you to warrant that insult exactly Cliffjumper? Seriously, I didn't insult you, I didn't try to pick a fight. I got the name of an anime series wrong and apparently that's all it takes for you to act like a total asshole. Also, if something happened, it can't be an abortion, can it? And the analogy I was trying to make is that an aborted baby isn't fully developed and the film, to me, felt like it wasn't fully developed either. It felt like a bad mix of Independence Day and a teen romance film, with a couple of Transformers thrown into the mix.
Oh and BTW I know full well there are many other series featuring piloted mecha. But Masterforce was the ONLY Transformers animated series that had the Transformers as mecha being piloted by humans.

Stupid conversation. Let's just be happy that there's a third Transformers film (theoretically) on the agenda and leave it at that. Remember, of course, that the production of TF3 is still based upon the second film's box office take. Producers had expected to make a whole series based upon The Golden Compass, but after its weak US box office showing, they scrapped the series. Now, Transformers already has a wildly successful film to lean on, and I don't doubt that a third will be produced, but let's just see how the second one performs before we get all hot and bothered and engage in stupid arguments about human-piloted mechs and whatnot.
