So wave 8 will be just repaints?

Hardly surprising though, seeing the current release rate, the movie will probably be out by then and Hasbro will put all their resources into that...

...but aren't Titaniums manufactured pretty much independently from them? :\

Loved the comment of one of the posters there... "Ultra Magnus can deal with you now!" :D

Poor Megatron...he just can't catch a break can he? :(

At least this one looks semi-posable.

So the Ultra Magnus is one of the best Titaniums and the WW Megatron is one of the worst.

Let me explain, WW megatron's alt mode looks like you lay him on hs belly and he's transformed. Oh well, I bet this megatron won't be floppy and loose.
Come on and wind me up.

Well, we already have listings for upcoming toys, which will be Skywarp (repaint), Soundblaster with Ravage (repaint but with different cassette), Grimlock, Prowl and Primal Prime (repaint). It has nothing to do with "resources", though - more with revenue.

Yes, but the three-inchers will feature a few waves of movie-based characters following the Soundwave/Nemesis Prime wave.

I guess a tiny white Optimus Prime repaint was too much to hope for. :p

Hmm...do you think they've tightened up the joints on WW Ultra Magnus? That'd almost be worth it. It's still a great mould...the Prime version was just too loose.

6" Grimmers, is it? If he transforms into a t-rex, rather than his WWI tank mode, I might be interested in that. Skipped Soundwave, but if Ravage looks cool enough, I might be tempted to grab him. Skywarp would be the only colors I'd get that Seeker mold in.

WW Magnus seems to be sporting more blue than previous incarnations of Ultra Repaint. Doesn't entice me to pick him up, but at least they seem to have put a little bit more effort into the colors.

Actually I'd love the cyborg T-Rex Grimmy from the Shockwave spotlight issue.
