At last! Complete CW/UW collection!

Post by Ryan F »

Having just received the last batch of TFCC figures, I am now the proud owner of a complete set of all Combiner Wars / Unite Warriors moulds.

Given the relative scarcity of Flash Sentry, I don't think there are too many people on the planet who can boast the same.

Anyway, so I made a video. Forgive the inane commentary.

The Mayhems look pretty cool! I'd not looked at what made the SDCC Constructicons different, so that was good to see. Good collection fella :)

Yeah, would've been all over the Mayhems if they'd seen a retail release.

Do you normally display in alt-modes? Am I going to get hit if I express an interest in seeing them all in robot modes?

I don't usually display them at all! They're usually stored away in vehicle mode in containers under the bed, and the weapons sorted into baggies.. If there are any that you'd particularly like to see in robot or combined mode, just holler!

It would have been nice to get the Beast combiners, for sure. The Terrorcons/ Predacons I would have thought would be fairly easy to do and could share moulds with minor retooling. Still, I'm happy with what we got and I do like Megatronia and although he's super wibbly, I do like Liokaiser.

That's a lot of combining.

I take G2 Defensor never happened? That irks the OCD a bit.

Question: is Shuttler from the Baldigus set riddled with quality control problems like Blastoff from the Bruticus set?

So what's it like to complete a collection anyway? Knowing there's nothing more to collect?
