Whoah, apparently you can get some new Alternators direct from HasbroToyShop from that page. Nice that they're linking to that AND that you can get some figures that aren't in stores yet now.

Yes, but that isn`t the first assortment they`re in, except for Prime.

Not necessarily. The Liege Maximo (who has also been linked to Tarantulas in various fan-fiction) would also qualify as darker and more ancient than the Decepticons. Both the Quintessons and the Fallen can also qualify (though the former seemed more collectively insane than evil while the latter was only recently included in the mythos after Beast Wars).

"Megatron" looks more like a Galvatron in disguise than BW Megatron.

Primal design looks better drawn than in the pictures I saw from Toy Fair.
