Zombie Transformers...

Post by StoneCold Skywarp »

And now for something completely different...
Hi guys,

My name is Rob Caprilozzi and I run the largest horror comic book news and resource site on the internet, ComicMonsters.com.

I just wanted to pass this info along to you because I think it may interest some Transformers fans.

Ken Haeser and Buz Hasson, two professional comic book artists known for their zombie books, sketches etc, are making the Transformers into zombies. They are going to be raffling off their artwork. Currently they have Zombified Optimus Prime, with more Transformers to follow.

Here is the link:

Regards,
Rob Caprilozzi

Too late! They've missed the boat by a couple of decades, neh? Remember what was left of Screamer after his unsuccessful er amalgamation with the Underbase? And then there's Thunderwing, and the walking dead in The City of Fear story.

Oh, and I guess any Sparkless exoframes raised by Unicron meet the criteria. Heck, those Sparkless exoframes were vampires, to boot.

Never been a fan of 'zombiefying' in any case, and I don't think it can be properly applied to anything principally non-organic. Besides, we've already seen broken up robots so many times.

(Galvatron's death in the the Marvel UK Time Wars. That's a corker...)

Cashing in, methinks.

Optimus would be unable to eat people with his trademark faceplate on.

Yea, I thought this thread was about Impactor...

And I think 'Marvel Zombies' is really stupid.

I like it. A lot actually. Zombie themes are always a win by me.

I think Transformers zombies would be a great idea.
Too bad Michael Bay had the same idea for his movie.
(oh no wait, they aren't zombies the story is just dead lol)

then why does seibertron.com state that the movie made 150 million, the last time i checked, good sir? if it was a dead story line, it would not have made any...... Back on topic, the first picture reminds me of the episode when Rodimus and company go to the floating tomb of the autobots and Prime is reawakened by the Quentisons (forgive spelling errors), and towards the end Prime goes evil, etc. due to the control and even falls apart after much abuse by Hot Rod. Wowzers O.O

(money figure stated by seibertron.com now is 246 million worldwide, I checked 7/10/2007 at 3:57 central time)

so it made some money, that doesn't mean that the movie is that good.
It isn't bad, but I expected more from it.
And I hear from TF fans around me, that they are slightly disappointed too.

Well, I think it's pretty cool, naysayers aside. It's a combo of my two most favorite things ever. What part of the the phrase 'zombie robots' is NOT cool?

I just hope they're metal eating zombie Transformers. And they don't talk. Although I love Marvel Zombies, it kind of annoys me that all the zombie characters are still sentient. Mindless killing machines are far more entertaining.

It's the combination of 'zombie' with 'robots'. Been there, read it, seen the ressurrection. Metal eating mechanoids would be Mechannibals (OK - they chomped and up-chucked the bits for some reason). And mindless killing machines would be tanks and planes in the hands of humans... Go enjoy a good war film and let this be.

I wish there was more art to see than just Prime. I hope they don't tease us for too long.
