I say the Side swipe mold is great. Simply because FR showed it works for punch counterpunch. Teh head.

Hate to break it to you, but he wasn't exactly the ONLY person with that idea...

And the fact it was repainted into Treadshot had nothing to do with that decision? :)

Catalyst Dragon 2008-09-19 11:27 AM

Oh Hell...I think I'm gonna have to get me a Sam's card now!

OK. Don't really care who used that idea, just saying it works.

I thought that was ugly, tbh. The burgundy (or whatever it is) is not for me. And i don't need Bendy Magnus either. Let's get this straight: My username refers to the aerialbot, or the action master, though i'm more inclined to the aerialbot.

[foghorn]I say, it's a joke, son, it's a joke! Just a joke! Ya hear me, boy? Boy's like a stadium on a Wednesday, the lights just ain't on.[/foghorn]

Catalyst Dragon 2008-09-20 08:07 AM

LOL. I love Foghorn!

I sorta like the Armada Sideswipe mold, but If I get this I'm thinking of turning him into a Windcharger...or maybe Swerve.

I'm trying to slightly desuckify my Cyb Runamuck by "reactivating" his Mini-Con gimmick. However, I don't know how, and now I have a long spring, a short spring, a piece of blue plastic, and a still non-working Mini-Con gimmick. D:

Not huge on the prime recolor, but it isnt horrible.
Got Blurr, and he's as good as his armada counterpart, with a g1 accurate head
Never got Buzzsaw, but definatly wanted it,as its BW Buzzsaw second incarnation, and looks so good, I really liked armada cyclonus.
><; the only one of these whose mini-con would even be worth getting to me would be buzzsaw from the galaxy force:micron booster
Never got long rack, his headdesign is amazing, and dispite having a weird head in some scenes of the anime, was generally a decent charecter. Its a good remix of armada...(thats not hoist or smokescreen or grapple).dinobot^^
Runamuck. no comment.

aimed possibly at the grandparents looking for a good play-value-to-cost ratio for 'big' crimbo pressies?

i think we forget sometimes that the fandom is not the core market...

(offtopic: yes, i've just been listening to tfwire again. some nonsense about kids not having disposable income to buy transformers etc. kids don't generally buy them for themselves, its parents who make the final call etc.)
