Synopsis:As he orbits Earth, Soundwave gathers information about the planet from various news broadcasts. He observes as the police pursues a seemingly stolen RV in Seattle. It turns out that the Decepticon Pretender Alice had hijacked the RV, while NEST forces pursue the Decepticon. The Twins box the RV and herd their quarry to a roadblock, where Sideswipe is waiting. Alice is stabbed through the chest, killed. Soundwave observes that it’s no big loss, since Alice had gone mad after spending so much time around humans.

Soundwave then watches Theodore Galloway, who is trying to pull strings to dismantle NEST and the Autobot-military alliance. Soundwave is pleased that Galloway is doing all the work for him. Soundwave resolves to conquer Earth by stealth while awaiting Megatron’s return. His carefully-laid plans go awry when he discoveres that Ravage is functioning again despite him not feeling his minion’s resurrection. Soundwave heads off to Earth to investigate.

At Diego Garcia, Optimus Prime discusses things with NEST. Lennox tells them that due to Galloway’s actions, NEST doesn’t have proper funding. Meanwhile, Sideswipe and Ratchet discuss humans (the former isn’t very impressed). Bumblebee, Knock Out, Jolt, Breakaway and Dune Runner are dispatched to the factory ruins to monitor five unknown spark traces. They see an army of people clad in green hazard suits as well as ground vehicles, and Bumblebee tells them to just observe.

Meanwhile, Soundwave and his minions arrive. Soundwave attacks, expecting to obtain an easy victory, but the humans fight back against Soundwave’s minions, much to Soundwave’s surprise. Breakaway confronts Soundwave, who kills the airborne Autobot easily. Seeing this, the Autobots open fire on the Decepticons. The humans take this distraction to withdraw. Soundwave does the same, but is unable to track the mysterious humans. Meanwhile, a group of humans meet in a holographic conference, discussing the mission. They state that not enough energy was extracted to feed their objective, namely the partially restored AllSpark Cube.

Featured Transformers: Soundwave, Sideswipe, Ironhide, Alice (stabbed by Sideswipe), Skids, Mudflap, Ravage (flashback and present), Appliancebots' bodies, Optimus Prime, Ratchet, Knock Out, Jolt, Bumblebee, Dune Runner, Breakaway (blown up by Soundwave), Buzzsaw, Rumble, Ratbat, Beastbox,

SynopsisAfter the events of last issue, Galloway threatens to disband NEST, claiming that the situation no longer needs their presence. After Galloway leaves, Optimus and Lennox considers that a third organization might be involved. Meanwhile, a team of humans are inspecting the wreckage of Kingdom Petrochemicals, but are attacked by Buzzsaw and a revived Ravage. Soundwave tells Ravage to lay low while he locates whoever is responsible for Ravage’s revival, while Buzzsaw is sent to rendezvous with a strike team led by Dirt Boss in Utah. Dirt Boss’ party is sent to a farm that was present in Ravage’s memory cache. Not pleased at being bossed around by Soundwave, Dirt Boss and his goons level the farm, intending to report back to Soundwave without working, but when Brakedown discovers a sub-level, a bomb explodes, narrowly missing the Decepticons.

As this goes on, the Initiative tests the newly reconstructed AllSpark. Their hackers enter Sector Seven mainframes. Carter, the seeming leader of the organization, is informed about Decepticons tripping their failsafe in Utah, and alerts the NEST forces, pitting the two against each other.

Ironhide and Sideswipe are deployed and easily kill Reverb and Brakedown, but Dirt Boss gains the upper hand with a fake surrender. Soundwave and Ravage arrives to even the odds. As Soundwave holds Ironhide at gunpoint, Optimus Prime arrives, quickly defeating Soundwave. Soundwave convinces the Autobots that he’s a valuable asset to them if they want to find out who’s working against them. Optimus is convinced to merely arrest Soundwave (instead of freezing him) in return for information, but he is racked with guilt over it. Meanwhile, Galloway discovers that the Hoover Dam have gone off the radar…

Synopsis: In Utah, Bumblebee reflects their following-orders-to-the letter attitude might have been the one that caused Breakaway’s death. Optimus Prime contacts Bumblebee, and informs the yellow Autobot that they are ready to receive Soundwave. While both Jolt and Bumblebee are unhappy with Optimus’ seeming underestimating Soundwave, they obey their orders. As the transport plane takes flight, Soundwave, tied down onto a slab, remarks that the Autobots have merely a short while to live. In quick succession, Buzzsaw takes out the two cargo planes, causing them to crash.

In a disused nuclear shelter in Texas, Ironhide, Optimus Prime and Sideswipe are preparing a containment zone in which to negotiate with Soundwave, unsure whether Bumblebee could pull through. In Nevada, Galloway boards a helicopter and tells the crew to disregard any orders and to take him to Hoover Dam. Inside the Dam in question, Initiative agents are drilling to reach some sort of payload. In their base, Initiative-1 (a.k.a. Carter Newell) talks with his subordinates, and agrees to deal with Galloway before he reaches Hoover Dam. They specify that it must be ‘an airborne unit’.

Meanwhile, the Autobots and humans assigned with Bumblebee recover from the crash, but are quickly assaulted by Soundwave’s mini-militia. The Autobots drag Soundwave towards the direction of the Texas base and away from the humans. Bumblebee manages to take out Rumble, but realizes that they are outnumbered. Noting that they can’t win the combat, Bumblebee decides to improvise. Soundwave orders Ravage to free him from his restraints, but before Ravage could do that, an Initiative hacker manages to put Ravage under her control again, and Ravage runs away. Bumblebee frees Soundwave, noting that he isn’t worth the deaths of more Autobots. The Decepticons take Soundwave and depart, while Bumblebee says that he could take care of the consequences.

Above the Hoover Dam, Galloway and his team is assaulted by a World War era bomber that swiftly shoots down the helicopter ferrying him there…

Synopsis:Director Galloway and the military troops with him are under assault from Ransack, who is being controlled by the Initiative. Galloway manages to get an SOS out to NEST, even as the rest of his men fall in battle. Carter Newell and two of his trusted subordinates discuss their plans. Carter displays to them that he really hates Transformers, but before his subordinates could pry further he shuts them up. Optimus Prime and Lennox were discussing Soundwave’s escape when Galloway’s call for help reaches them. They dispatch the Twins, who are close to the area, to engage Ransack.

Meanwhile, Soundwave and his militia have tracked Ravage to the Initiative’s base and are moving in. The humans are resourceful, though, and automated traps and drones begin to attack. Dirt Boss is blown into the air by traps, while Ratbat, Beastbox and Rumble are subdued by advanced weaponry. Soundwave personally enter the fray, but when two mysterious Transformers controlled by the Initiative appear, the Decepticon manipulator is quickly defeated.

In Nevada, Ransack gets ever closer to Galloway. In an effort to protect an injured pilot, Galloway draws the Initiative-controlled Decepticon’s attention. Skids and Mudflap arrive just in time and open fire on Ransack. As Ransack transforms and flies off, the Twins and several NEST helicopters shoot Ransack out of the sky. Galloway tells Lennox that someone had tried to kill them because they were getting too close to the Hoover Dam. The Twins note that whoever did this might be going for the AllSpark. Meanwhile, back in Odessa, an injured Soundwave arrives in front of Optimus and Lennox to propose an alliance. Meanwhile, Carter Newell, leader of the Initiative, talks to a Transformer’s head about how all robots will know his revenge…

Synopsis:Despite his soldiers’ protests, Optimus Prime believes in the information that Soundwave has relayed to them, and is convinced about the Initiative’s power. Soundwave agrees to help them locate the Initiative’s base, although he keeps the existence of Initiative-controlled Transformers from the Auobots. Galloway talks to Lennox, telling the soldier to make the Initiative pay. The Initiative members have fed Allspark residue to their own personal Allspark, and Carter Newell hooks himself up to it.

In a holographic meeting, the other leaders of the Initiative orders Carter to step down as leader. Clearly insane by this point, Carter sends out bits of Allspark energy to mutate appliances near the other leaders of the Initiative all around the world. These Allspark-birthed mutations quickly murder the other leaders, leaving Carter the sole leader of the Initiative. Meanwhile, Soundwave have managed to locate the Initiative’s base with the help from NEST, and the Autobots roll out. Once in position, the Autobots split up, and engage the Initiative forces on multiple fronts. Soundwave and Buzzsaw also join in as air support. Carter orders his troops to fight fire with fire, and the Autobots soon find themselves surrounded by mindless Initiative-controlled Transformers. Meanwhile, Carter’s subordinates warn him that their makeshift Allspark is in meltdown.

Synopsis:The Autobots and NEST continue battling against the Initiative-controlled Transformers. Meanwhile, Soundwave takes advantage of the distraction and re-asserts his control over Ravage. Carter Newell, meanwhile, has grown mad with power and ignores his subordinate’s concerns that the unbridled use of the AllSpark will destroy everything. Carter nonchalantly kills his subordinate. Ingrid, the female hacker, runs towards the giant big head and asks for help. The head introduces himself as Fortress, and that he was one of the Seekers sent to Earth alongside Ransack. As they squabbled for a possible clue for the Tomb of the Primes, a couple was accidentally caught in the crossfire and was killed. A young Carter Newell survived the death of his parents, though, and seeing Fortress transform, was driven by hate to end the Transformers’ existence. And through resources, began to build the Initiative. After hearing Fortress’ story, Ingrid apparently releases the Seeker.

Meanwhile, Ratchet manages to free the Autobots from the Initiative’s control, while Optimus Prime heads into the Initiative complex alone. Carter hurts all the Autobots by unleashing the power of the AllSpark, but he is mortally wounded by Reedman, who is released by Ravage. After blasting Reedman apart, the deraged Carter takes the fake AllSpark away by transforming part of their base into a transport vehicle. Optimus Prime gives chase, as does Fortress. Optimus Prime crashes through the transport, and is prepared to sacrifice himself to destroy the AllSpark. Carter tries to blast Optimus, but the arrival of Buzzsaw puts the human out of his misery. Fortress, feeling guilty for his actions, takes the fake AllSpark and flies into space where it detonates.

Finally, NEST takes in all the Initiative members into custody, but the databanks of the Initiative have been wiped clean. Soundwave, meanwhile, orbits Earth, uploading something into his databanks.
