Episode 2. The Rebirth (Part Two)

2. The Rebirth (part 2)

Spike finishes the modifications on the heads of Brainstorm, Arcee, Hardhead, Chromedome, and Highbrow for them to become Headmasters with Gort and the Nebulons. Each of the four leaders must choose which Autobot they want to bond with. Duros picks Hardhead, Arkana picks Brainstorm, Styler picks Chromedome, and Gort is stuck with Highbrow, who is the loudmouth of the bunch. Arcee reserved her space for Daniel and Spike helps his crippled sun into Arcee's head and takes the life support machine off him. The Nebulons and Daniel in their new Autobot heads merge with their bodies and become Headmasters. After everyone gets acquainted, they set out to battle the Hive's machines out in the forest. With the Nebulons and Daniel helping them, the five Autobots easily defeat the Hive's machines and they are destroyed. Meanwhile, Zarak and the other Hive members observe that Gort and his rebels are now in the bodies of the Autobots and Zarak starts thinking up a plan on what to do about the Headmaster Autobots and Nebulons. Meanwhile, Cyclonus, Scourge, and the other Decepticons are questioning the six Autobots that they captured about the whereabouts of the plasma energy key, but they won't talk. Suddenly, the five Headmaster Autobots show up and the Decepticons think that they are fools to fight all of them. Without warning, the Headmasters transform into their robot modes and their heads split off into the Nebulons and Spike in robotic exosuits made from the heads. The Decepticons are getting pounded by the Autobot Headmasters and the Nebulons and they try to retreat, but their ship gets destroyed by the Headmasters. They then leave on their own to see what they can do against the Autobots' new forms. After they leave, the Headmasters rescue Hot Rod, Kup, Blurr, Pointblank, Crosshairs, and Sureshot from the torture devices and they leave the area as well. Meanwhile, on Cybertron, Fastlane, Cloudraker, and Punch report to Optimus Prime and Ultra Magnus and tell them that they can't find the missing Autobots or the key to the plasma energy chamber. Optimus senses that something is wrong and goes to "find some answers". Back on Nebulos, the Decepticons are trying to figure out a plan on how to fight the Headmaster Autobots. All of a sudden, the Decepticons are attacked by the Hive's machines and are dropped into a hole. They ride a conveyor belt and drop into the Hive's secret underground city. Zarak introduces himself and the Hive members to the Decepticons. Zarak tells them that he has a little deal to make with them, one that will help them to defeat the Autobots, and all it will cost them is.....their heads. Zarak tells the Decepticons that they get to defeat the Autobots and that the hive members get new bodies in the form of robotic exosuits made from the Decepticons' heads. Scourge tells Zarak that the Decepticons don't make deals with organic creatures, but Zarak says that they don't have a choice. Without warning, mechanical devices come out of the walls and try to remove the Decepticons' heads from their bodies. The Decepticons give in and say that they will make a deal with Zarak. The Decepticons are released from the devices and Cyclonus tells the Hive that they can only have the heads of the animal Decepticons: Weirdwolf, Skullcruncher, Mindwipe, Apeface, and Snapdraggon. Apeface tries to object to Cyclonus, but he is shot before he can say much. Zarak then asks Cyclonus, Scourge, Triggerhappy, Misfire, and Aimless what the five of them will offer the Hive. Cyclonus then says that the Hive can use their weapons to be modified like they would the heads and Zarak agrees with the idea. He then tells the Decepticons that the bargaining is over and for the five animal Decepticons to remove their heads and for the five Decepticon jets to relinquish their weapons and the transformation begins. Back on Cybertron, Ultra Magnus follows Optimus Prime in the Vector Sigma chamber. Optimus plans on using the shell of the Autobot matrix to merge with Vector Sigma so that he can ask his dead creator, Alpha Trion, where the missing Autobots and the key to the plasma energy chamber is. Optimus is successful and he meets with Alpha Trion. Alpha Trion tells Optimus that the missing Autobots are on Nebulos. Alpha Trion then tells Optimus the story of how the Autobots' ship was hit with only one volt of the plasma energy and it sent them millions of miles through space. Alpha Trion then tells Optimus that plasma energy is RAW energy. It seeks out any entity that transforms matter into energy and overloads it totally. Alpha Trion then tells Optimus that only organic life is unaffected by the plasma energy chamber. Alpha Trion then tells Optimus that a second Golden Age of Cybertron is almost at hand, but whether this comes to pass, depends on the merging of an Autobots' life with that of a human being. Optimus asks Alpha Trion how he knows all this and Alpha Trion then tells Optimus that Vector Sigma told him of all this and that it was Vector Sigma itself that arranged for Galvatron and the Decepticons to learn of the key's existence. Optimus then says that that doesn't make any sense, but Alpha Trion replies by saying not according to Vector Sigma's motives and that the parameters of its design are far greater that Optimus could imagine. Alpha then gives Optimus the final warning that no matter what happens, the key to the plasma energy chamber must not be destroyed because Vector Sigma commands it!!!! Optimus then appears outside of the Vector Sigma chamber with Ultra Magnus and Alpha Trion has disappeared. Optimus tells Ultra Magnus that he got his answers, and every answer led to a bigger question. He also tells Ultra Magnus that something is happening on Nebulos. Back on Nebulos, the Hive and Decepticon modifications on their bodies are almost finished. Zarak informs the group that he will stay to work on another plan, one that involves the entire Hive city. Back on Cybertron, Optimus tells Ultra Magnus that he is leaving for Nebulos so that he can find the lost Autobots and the key. He then informs Ultra Magnus that while he is gone, that Ultra Magnus is to lead the fight against Galvatron and the remaining Decepticons until he returns with the missing Autobots and the key. Optimus then leaves in his ship for Nebulos. Back on Nebulos, the Hive and the Decepticons have finished the modifications on their bodies. The animal Decepticons, along with Vorath, Monzo, Spasma, Krunk, and Grax, have become the new Decepticon Headmasters. Also, the Decepticons now have an advantage over the Autobots with the new Decepticon Targetmasters: Cyclonus and Nightstick, Scourge and Frakus, Triggerhappy and Blowpipe, Misfire and Aimless, and Slugslinger and Calliburst. The Decepticons and Hive then leave the secret underground Hive city to go find the Autobots so they can be destroyed. Meanwhile, the Autobots and the Headmaster Autobots are returning to the Nebulon's cave hideout with the wreckage of the Decepticons' ship, when they see Cerebros fall down a hill. Cerebros is barely able to tell his Autobot friends that he found a city. They take Cerebros back to the cave and the Nebulons tell their Autobot friends that maybe he found the lost city of the Hive, the city that they lived in before they developed their mental powers and moved underground. Just as they finish talking, the Decepticon Headmasters and Targetmasters, along with the Hive, arrive to destroy the Autobots and Nebulons. Because of the new advantage of the Targetmasters, the Decepticons easily defeat the Autobots and Mindwipe, along with some of the Hive members, manage to take the plasma energy key away from Brainstorm. Before the Decepticons can leave, Brainstorm grabs hold of Nighstick (Cyclonus' new Targetmaster gun) and has Arkana to run a full scan of the Hive members' body. It is done, but Nightstick manages to escape and leave with the Decepticons who were ordered to return to the Hive city under Zarak's orders. After they leave, the Autobots, Nebulons, Spike, and Daniel observe the blueprints that Brainstorm and Arkana got from Nightstick and they see how the Decepticons and Hive were able to make the Targetmasters. The Autobots then decide to have six of the remaining seven Autobots (except for Cerebros who is injured) to merge with the last six members of the Nebulon warriors to make Autobot Targetmasters. Just as Spike gets done with the modifications, Optimus Prime arrives at the cave in his ship to find the other Autobots and the new Autobot Targetmasters introduce themselves to Optimus. They introduce themselves as: Kup and Recoil, Hot Rod and Firebolt, Blurr and Heywire, Pointblank and Peacemaker, Crosshairs and Pinpointer, and Sureshot and Spoilsport. The five Headmaster Autobots then trasform to their vehicle modes to show Optimus their new partners. Optimus asks how this all happened and Kup says that it is a LONG story, with a couple of hitches in it. Hot Rod then tells Optimus that the Decepticons are now Headmasters and Targetmasters too. Brainstorm then tells Optimus that they have the plasma energy key to and Optimus says that it is time to get it back. Back at the Hive city, the Decepticons are getting impatient because Zarak told them to wait outside until he is done with his plan. Just then, Optimus Prime, along with the Autobot Headmasters and Targetmasters arrive to fight the Decepticons and get the key back. The fight starts and the Decepticons begin to lose. Arcee and Daniel then figure out that Scourge has the key and they go to get it from him. Arcee runs over Scourge in her car mode and takes the key out of his chest. She then runs to Optimus with the key and he congratulates her and Daniel for their work. Kup then tells the Decepticons that they won't get the key back either. Just then, Zarak tells Kup that he is wrong and a huge city rises from beneath the ground. It is the Hive's secret underground city built into a Decepticon city. Zarak then tells the Autobots to get ready to feel the sting of.....Scorponok!!!!! The huge city then transforms into a giant robot scorpion and starts attacking the Autobots.
