Thundercracker

| Personal Profile | Cartoon Biography | Quotes |

Personal Profile: Thundercraker was one of the three original Seekers introduced in the first year of Transformers. He was partnered with Skywarp and Starscream, but Starscream was always the one Seeker that was in the limelight. Thundercracker and Skywarp were happy with their roles in the Decepticon army and weren’t ones to question Megatron’s authority. Thundercracker had the unique ability to be able to produce sonic booms that were powerful enough to heavily disrupt the audio receptors of the Autobots. It was a very effective manoeuvre when he was fighting Autobots.

Episodes appeared in: More Than Meets the Eye parts 1-3, Transport to Oblivion, Roll for It, Divide and Conquer, Fire in the Sky, Fire on the Mountain, SOS Dinobots, War of the Dinobots, Ultimate Doom parts 1-3, Countdown to Extinction, Heavy Metal War, Autobot Spike, Changing Gears, City of Steel, Attack of the Autobots, Traitor, The Immobilizer, Atlantis Arise, Enter the Nightbird, The Core, Autobot Run, Prime Problem, Dinobot Island parts 1 and 2, Insecticon Syndrome, Auto Berserk, Microbots, Megatron's Master Plan parts 1 and 2, Desertion of the Dinobots part 1, Child's Play, Quest for Survival, Master Builders, A Decepticon Raider in King Arthur's Court, Golden Lagoon, War Dawn, Starscream's Brigade, Revenge of Bruticus, BOT and Transformers: The Movie.

Cartoon Bio: Thundercracker was with Megatron and the other Decepticons when they attacked the Ark and crashed in it. It is unknown when he was created and when he joined the Decepticons, but there is evidence to suggest that he was around as far back as when the Decepticons were fighting the Guardian robots. When the volcano on Earth erupted, it awoke Teletran 1 and Thundercracker was revived along with the rest of the Decepticons. With all of the Decepticons now rebuilt, they left the Ark in search of a new base of operations. Thundercracker remained in the Decepticon army as a soldier. He was one of many Seekers on Earth, but after the Decepticons initial plan to build a ship was foiled by the Autobot, Mirage, Thundercracker was one of only three Seekers, along with Starscream and Skywarp. Three new Seekers: Ramjet, Thrust and Dirge, eventually joined the Decepticon forces on Earth a year later. Thundercracker was loya! l toward Megatron and would often get into arguments with Starscream, usually because Starscream was planning to betray Megatron somehow. Thundercracker would often serve as the middle-man/peacemaker of the group, should any of the Decepticons below Megatron get in an argument. Skywarp was his closest ally and they were almost always together. Thundercracker remained in the Decepticon army until the year 2005. During a large battle with the Autobots at Autobot City the Autobot leader, Optimus Prime, shot him down. He escaped from Autobot City on Astrotrain, but was jettisoned into space along with Megatron, Skywarp, and three Insecticons that could have been clones or the real thing, after the healthy Decepticons decided that they needed to get rid of excess weight. Thundercracker and the other Decepticons floated through space until they were met by Unicron. Unicron made a deal with Megatron that involved Thundercracker and the others being reformatted into new, stronger Tr! ansformers. It is my belief that Thundercracker became Cyclonus, the new second-in-command, while Skywarp became Scourge, the new third-in-command and leader of the Sweeps, which were what I believe to be the Incecticons, albeit the real ones or clones. What is for sure known is that Thundercracker's personality was erased when he became Cyclonus and Cyclonus then enjoyed a long life as the second-in-command of the Decepticons.

Thundercracker; Quotes:

"You know, Skywarp, I can't wait to get back to Cybertron. Earth's so flat."
"I'd rather bash Prime one-on-one, but when Megatron says 'gang up', Thundercracker gangs!"
"Yeah, but even without our new weapon, I could fry your circuits extra-crispy. Megatron would love it, but that geeky Starscream would take all the credit. On the other hand, if I let you wreck our new weapon, Megatron might blame Starscream.......which would make me very happy."
"Let's go back and liquify that slime, Prime. I want revenge!"
