Episode 26. Money is Everything
25. Face of the Nijika
The Autobots and Decpticons get in a fight out in space. They come
across a wormhole in space and are then attacked by the Quintessons.
During the battle, Cyclonus, Rodimus Prime, Ultra Magnus, Perceptor,
and Blurr go through the wormhole along with the Quintesson ship and
the wormhole closes behind them. The four Autobots land on a planet
called Semoja. Perceptor gets separated from Rodimus, Ultra Magnus,
and Blurr. The three Autobots fall on the ground of the planet and
Blurr is injured. Blurr can't go on and Rodimus and Ultra Magnus decide
to leave him while they go and look for Perceptor. A few minutes later,
a group of people from Semoja find Blurr and capture him. Meanwhile,
Perceptor is stuck in his microscope mode and can't transform. He
is found by a Semojan named Contudon who takes Perceptor to his home.
He removes the Autobot symbol from Perceptor's chest and places it
on a female robot named Nijika. The universal emulator behind Perceptor's
Autobot symbol interacts with Nijika's circuits and the robot gets
a face. Meanwhile, Rodimus and Ultra Magnus are still looking for
Perceptor when they find a group of Semojan warriors who attack them.
The two Autobots defeat the Semojans and they retreat. Meanwhile,
Perceptor, in the form of Nijika, talks to Contudon and asks him about
where he is. Contudon tells Perceptor that long ago, a group of devils
from the sky came to Semojan and attacked the planet. When they came,
they attacked the monument of the great Semojan god, Neecodon. The
monument was ruined and when the devils left, the stars were taken
out of the sky and a wormhole replaced it. After the story is told,
Perceptor tells Contudon that the devils are nothing of the sort and
that they were really the Quintessons. He then comes to the conclusion
that for some reason, that the Quintessons wanted to stop the evolution
of the Semojan people, so they destroyed their monument of Neecodon
and for some reason, put the wormhole in the sky to block the stars
from the Semojans. At that time, two Sharkticons attack Contudon and
Perceptor and Contudon defeats them easily and they retreat. Later,
the Sharkticon return to the Quintesson ship and Cyclonus enters the
ship. He tells them that since the Sharkticons failed to defeat the
Semojan warrior, that the Quintessons would not last a minute on the
planet. Cyclonus then offers to go with the Quintessons to the planet
to find the Autobots. Later, Rodimus Prime and Ultra Magnus go to
the capital city to look for Perceptor. At that time, the captured
Blurr is hung over a boiling pot of hot lava and the Semojans threaten
to drop the Autobot into it. Most of the Semojans are in the crowd
and Cyclonus and a Quintesson are among the people and they watch
what the Semojans are about to do to Blurr. A few minutes later, Contudon
and Perceptor arrive and tell the Semojans that Blurr is one of their
friends and that they will need his help to get rid of the Quintessons
who have returned to the planet. Afterwards, the Semojans see Cyclonus
and the Quintesson and go to attack them, but they escape and capture
Perceptor in the process. Contudon is also taken aboard the ship and
the Quintesson shoots the injured Blurr's rope and he falls into the
lava. The lava isn't hot enough to do him any harm, in fact, it somehow
repairs his injuries and he flies out of the pot of lava. Blurr goes
into the Quintesson ship along with Rodimus Prime and Ultra Magnus.
They save Contudon and Perceptor and the Quintessons and Cyclonus
retreat. Afterwards, Pereceptor's Autobot symbol is returned to his
real body and he returns to normal. After that, the wormhole in space
disappears and the stars return to the sky. The Semojans then reveal
that the glowing diamonds on their foreheads were used as a telepathic
technology to run their equipment which was powered by starlight.
The reason that the Quintessons tried to hide the stars from the Semojans
was because of the vast evolution's the Semojans would make with their
special technologies and the Quintessons felt threatened by it. At
the end, Sky Lynx arrives on Semoja to take the four Autobots back
to Cybertron.
26. Money is
Everything
A space ship called Lady Sue is attacked by Hun-Grr of the Terrorcons.
Scattershot and Strafe of the Technobots go out and try to help the
ship, but Hun-Grr beats them up as well. Nosecone, Afterburner, and
Lightspeed see what is going on and help the other two Technobots
and Hun-Grr retreats. Captain Merissa Fairborne, from Earth Defense
Command arrives on the scene to see what happened. Merissa and the
Technobots meet the driver of the Lady Sue space ship, a man named
Derk Mantis. Derk tells Merissa and the Technobots that he knows of
a secret Quintesson base inside of the Solar System and that Hun-Grr
found out about it, which was why he was attacked. The Technobots
and Merissa then decide to go to the Quintessons' moon base near Saturn
along with Mantis. Later that night, Merissa spots Derk talking to
a Quintesson on a com-link. It appears that Derk helped the Quintessons
get a special weapon and he hasn't received payment for getting it
for them yet. Derk finds Merissa watching him and he shoots her and
ties her up. Later, the Technobots never hear from Merissa and Scattershot,
Strafe, and Lightspeed go with Mantis to Saturn. Meanwhile, back on
Earth, Nosecone and Afterburner find Merissa and untie her. Afterwards,
Merissa tells them of Mantis' betrayal and they set out to find him
and the other three Technobots. Meanwhile, while Mantis, Scattershot,
Strafe, and Lightspeed are flying in space, they are attacked by Abominus.
The three Technobots fall on a moon and Derk leaves them. Abominus
then separates and turns back into the Terrorcons. Mantis lands the
Lady Sue on the Quintesson moon and he gives them their newest weapon,
the recreator. The Quintessons decide to test the machine on Blot.
The Terrorcon disappears and reappears in a few seconds. Derk tells
them that the recreator can heal an injury, or make it worse, which
means that any germs that Blot might have ad inside of him, are gone
now. The Quintessons then pay Mantis for his work and he leaves, but
not before putting a bomb on the recreator to double-cross the Quintessons.
However, the Quintessons foresaw Derk's betrayal and put a bomb on
the Lady Sue and it explodes, causing Derk's ship to crash on a moon.
Also, the Quintessons didn't give him real money, so Derk was tricked
again. On the moon, Derk finds the Technobots and Merissa, who are
mad at him for betraying them. While they are arguing, the Technobots
are attacked by some Sharkticons. The Technobots beat the Sharkticons
and they retreat. However, during the battle, the Technobots suffer
minor injuries and are now unable to merge into Computron. The group
then set out to go look for the Quintessons' base and Derk offers
to lead. On the journey, Derk betrays the Technobots and Merissa again
and he pulls a gun on her. Later, Derk turns Merissa and the Technobots
over to the Quintessons and Terrorcons. Derk says that he has no choice,
since the Quintessons have his money and that his ship is broke down.
Derk turns the recreator on and the Technobots disappear. Merissa
gets furious with Derk and tries to get him, but the Terrorcons protect
him. During the fighting, Derk turns the recreator on again and the
Technobots reappear and their injuries are healed. The Quintessons
realize that they have been tricked and they order the Terrorcons
to merge into Abominus. The Technobots then merge into Computron and
the two giants fight. Computron defeats Abominus and the Terrorcons
and Quintessons retreat. Later, the Technobots repair the Lady Sue
and Derk leaves, but he steals a kiss from Merissa before he leaves.
