Episode Died In: Transformers: The Movie

Bio: Skywarp was one of the six elite Decepticon jets along with Thundercracker, Dirge, Thrust, Ramjet, and their commander, Starscream. Skywarp had the special ability to teleport himself from one area to another to sneak up on Autobots during combat. Skywarp at one time used a weapon which made the Autobots get stuck in their vehicle modes with the help of his teleportation power.

Cause of Death: In the battle at Autobot City, Skywarp was heavily damaged along with Megatron, Thundercracker, Shrapnel, Kickback, and Bombshell. In order for the Decepticons to make it back to Cybertron on board Astrotrain, they had to "jettison some weight". The Decepticons voted that the 6 injured Decepticons should be thrown out, since they will probably die anyways. Skywarp and the rest were thrown out of Astrotrain and the healthy Decepticons left for Cybertron. Later, the 6 Decepticons meet up with the giant monster planet, Unicron. After much bargaining, Megatron agrees for him and his 5 soldiers to be "reformatted" with new bodies so they can defeat the new Autobot leader, Ultra Magnus to get the Autobot matrix of leadership. After the reformatting, Skywarp became Cyclonus, Galvatron's (Megatron's) new second-in-command.
