Episode Died In: Transformers: The Movie

Bio: Ratchet was one of the Autobot medics who treated the wounds of injured Autobots after fights with the Decepticons. Along with his friend, Wheeljack, Ratchet not only repaired the Autobots, but also created the legendary Dinobots. Also, working alongside them on occasion were Grapple, Hoist, Perceptor, and even the humans, Spike and Sparkplug.

Cause of Death: Ratchet was in the shuttle alongside Brawn, Prowl, and Ironhide when it was attacked by Megatron and the Decepticons. Ratchet was one of the last 2 to die as he was killed by Megatron, Starscream, Scrapper, and Mixmaster of the Decepticons. Since his death, Perceptor and First Aid (of the Protectobots) have replaced Ratchet as the Autobots' main metics/scientists.
